How it all started...
Gospel Centre belongs to the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. We began in 1949 as a Sunday School in Jasper Place. Our ministry grew and we became a church. We have been in our present building since 1977, with our most recent renovations starting in 2006.
We added our Saturday evening services in September 2011 and we added a second Sunday morning service in April 2018.
We call ourselves multi-ethnic, not multi-cultural, because we believe we are all of the culture of Jesus Christ. We are blessed to have a diversity of nationalities represented in our church - over 70 and counting! There is a very good chance you will meet others here who share your cultural heritage. Have you seen your flag yet?
We are multi-generational. We believe it is healthy to have people of all ages worship and grow together. You are welcome to join us, regardless of your age, ethnicity or background.
