The Magnificent Story

“Before time began” is not just a poetic phrase. It is a literal, scientific fact. It was also something God talked about long before science ever figured it out. God says that before time began he had formed a plan of redemption and salvation, so that when we sinned there would be a way back to God across the great divide created by our sin. This means that the story of Easter was not an afterthought, or a plan B that God had to craft because he was caught off guard by the events in Eden. Rather, the entire Bible weaves a story, a Magnificent Story, that starts before time and culminates with a cross and an empty tomb.
